QUICK FACTS

 

(1) The word “hénōsis” [in Greek, ἕνωσις] signifies the mystical oneness, unity, or union with God [through Christ] that results in both the sanctified life and service of others. In Eastern Orthodoxy, hénōsis is the “the ultimate goal of human existence” and indeed is “a way of summing up the purpose of creation.” Through hénōsis, God unites Himself to all of creation — with humanity at the focal point.

 

(2) Hénōsis Ministries, Inc. is a faith-based, religious non-profit, charitable corporation, organized by the spiritual leadership and faithful of St. Spyridon Orthodox Church in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico for the promotion of Orthodoxy [true/right faith], Orthopathy [true/right experience], and Orthopraxy [true/right practice].

 

(3) Hénōsis Ministries, Inc. is dedicated to synergic participation in the Lord Jesus Christ’s charity and sacrificial service to humankind (Mark 10:45) as the key to [and expression of] Christian authenticity (Mark 12:30–31).

 

(4) Hénōsis Ministries, Inc. is a tax exempt non-profit corporation — organized and operated exclusively for the purpose of the advancement of religion as set forth under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3).

 

(5) As a tax-exempt non-profit, Hénōsis Ministries, Inc. provides faith-based ministries and  services to the residents of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

Our MISSION at Hénōsis Ministries, Inc. is to catalyze and support a movement towards spiritual awakening, oneness, and unity. Through education, community-building, and the promotion of transformative experiences, we empower individuals to deepen their spiritual practice, cultivate inner peace, and embrace interconnectedness. We strive to create a world where spiritual values guide actions, fostering compassion, empathy, and respect for all beings. Together, we work towards a more awakened and unified humanity, dedicated to creating a world of harmony, understanding, and love.

VISION

Our VISION is to transform the world through a movement towards spiritual awakening, oneness, and unity. We envision a world where individuals are deeply connected to God [in Christ, Who is the Divine Logos], and hence, deeply connected to each other and the cosmos; this special connection ultimately leads to a collective consciousness that embraces compassion, love, and understanding. Through our work, we seek to inspire and empower individuals to a 'Christ awakening,' thereby fostering oneness and unity, and moreover, the transcendence of all boundaries and differences. Together, we can create a world where spiritual values guide our actions, leading to a more peaceful, harmonious, and sustainable future for all.

 

VALUES

 

Our VALUES [below] serve as guiding principles — shaping the culture and ethos of our community as we work towards our mission and vision.

 

1. Spiritual Growth: We value the journey of spiritual birth, awakening, and growth in Christ Jesus, and therefore we encourage individuals to experience spiritual re-birth, and to explore and deepen spiritual life and practice.

2. Unity: We value oneness, unity, interconnectedness, and community; recognizing that we are all part of a larger whole and we foster a sense of oneness among all.

3. Compassion: We value compassion and empathy, believing that kindness and understanding are essential in creating a more harmonious world.

4. Inclusivity: We value inclusivity — welcoming individuals from all backgrounds and beliefs to participate in our community and programs.

5. Empowerment: We value empowerment, and therefore empower individuals to take responsibility for their own spiritual journeys and to make thereby a positive impact in the world.

The PROCESS to which we are committed involves the igniting of a spiritual awakening — and fostering unity and oneness. Through our transformative programs and community-building efforts, we empower individuals to connect with the Divine Logos, each other, and the world around them. By cultivating a deeper understanding of our interconnectedness and shared humanity in God through Christ, we aim to create a more compassionate, harmonious, and sustainable world for present and future generations.
